A monthly colour montage to inspire your home.
It feels like only yesterday I shared last months’ colour montage, and here we are in April, unveiling the fourth of the year!
The response to last months’ colour montage, featuring Farrow & Ball’s new colour collection, was fantastic.
It took a slightly different approach, spotlighting a selection of carefully curated colours, rather than focussing on just one shade, and it clearly resonated with you!
So, for this months’ colour montage, I’ve followed the same direction; bringing together a collection of beautiful, inspirational interiors that showcase the delicate, fresh hues of spring.
Let these gorgeous colours inspire you to transform your space and capture the essence of the season
01.

A perfect introduction to spring; my first pick is a soft apricot-peach tone.
This colour-drenched living room features Little Greene’s Shrimp Pink; a standout shade that captures the warmth and freshness.. It’s a great example of how a single, thoughtfully applied colour can completely transform a space.

02.

As a huge fan of the simpler things in life, this stairway; designed in collaboration with Fraher & Findlay and A New Day Design; is a fabulous example of calm, minimalist styling.
The soft, tonal palette, clean lines, and that very cool arched cupboard for integrated storage strike the perfect balance between elegance and function, with a fresh, modern feel.
03.

This serene space showcases Wish by Jotun, a soft hue that brings a calming, fresh atmosphere; ideal for spring, without feeling too seasonal.
It’s a versatile shade that works all year round, especially when paired with light, neutral wood tones to add warmth and balance.
04.

Another gorgeous tone from Jotun; Iron Blue, a muted blue-grey that sets a soothing backdrop.
Combined with soft, earthy-toned bedding and bare floorboards, it creates a relaxed, rustic feel with a timeless, lived-in charm.
05.

This dusky lavender shade adds a sense of calm and serenity, especially when paired with sage green. The combination strikes a perfect balance between warmth and coolness.
06.

Blush pink just works.
While I’m not usually drawn to pink, I’ll always make an exception for a soft, dusky rose.
This project by Arent & Pyke gets it just right. The layered pink tones in the marble vanity add a touch of luxury and complements the warmth of the walls beautifully.
07.

How fabulous is this yellow? If this doesn’t give you all the spring vibes, I don’t know what will.
It works so well with the natural wood used for the kitchen units, and that fluting detail! Just gorgeous.
08.

A spring palette wouldn’t be complete without sage green.
This calming tone is a favourite, especially kitchens. In fact one of my very first interior design projects involved accessorising a sage green kitchen; and it’s still a favourite.

Pair it with natural wood, finish with brass or chrome accents; even a subtle pop of black; is all works effortlessly
