Taking inspiration from Pantone Colour of the Year 2025: Mocha Mousse
A monthly colour montage to inspire your home
You may have read last weeks post where I shared details of the recently announced Pantone Colour of the Year 2025, Mocha Mousse.
“Sophisticated and lush, yet at the same time an unpretentious classic.”.
This week I’ve trawled the internet to bring you some of my favourite Mocha Mousse-inspired images to tantalise your taste buds and possibly even inspire your next home decor project.
If you missed my post you can catch up here:
There are various ways to incorporate Mocha Mousse into your home, be it painting part of your room using this luxurious, creamy tone of brown; or accessorising with creamy neutrals. You’ll find an array of suggestions on how to style your home with this warm, rich brown hue if you so desire.
As I always remind everyone following colour and trend announcements for the new year, the best trend you can follow is discovering your own personal style. Remember, it’s your home and it’s important your interior design choices are timeless and suit your home, lifestyle, and personality.
This weeks post is more visual, sharing a selection of beautiful, inspirational images, that I hope you’ll love too.
Please do let me know your thoughts.
01.
Mocha Mousse used as an accent in combination with a warm neutral tone. This space emulates a warm, homely feel providing a balance of modern aesthetic and cosiness.
02.
This wall art by MCKA Wall Art definitely shows influence of Mark Rothko, one of my favourite abstract artists.
The mix of colours from a deep, rich chocolatey brown to a bright, almost gold tone mixed with a mink contrast works so well together.
03.
Inspired by the colours of Terracotta, this tone fits perfectly with this months colour montage inspired by Mocha Mousse. I love how it works alongside the dark stoneware used for this dining table.
04.
This Wabi-Sabi inspired bedroom is the perfect tranquil space to relax. Incorporating a new colour into your home doesn’t have to be about redecorating; simply adding a new bedding set can completely transform a space.

05.
The Glove chair designed by Carlo Colombo is not only a fabulous piece of modern furniture, but the colours link perfectly to this months colour montage.
06.
This living room space exudes modern elegance. Combining these neutral tones with the warmth of the wooden feature wall is pure perfection.
07.
I used this image in last weeks post and thought I’d reshare it in this months colour montage. I love how the richness of the copper tones works so well with the more subtle neutral tones.
08.
My final selection is this timeless kitchen design by Haldon House. The rich walnut cabinets combined with the warm beige and contrast of brass finishing touches is elegantly stunning, yet with a modern twist.
That concludes this months colour montage. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
For those of you that have been following The Bathroom Diaries, there won’t be a post this week as we’re waiting for tiles to arrive before we can proceed further.
I will be back next week, however, sharing some of the Interior Design Trends announced for this year.
Until then, have a wonderful weekend.
