Splash of luxury: Must have accessories for your bathroom
Sharing my favourite finds for the month
As we make preparations for our forthcoming Bathroom Renovation, this months shopping guide highlights a range of stunning bathroom accessories accessible for any budget and will support transform your bathroom into your very own spa-inspired sanctuary.
If you’re new here, or maybe you missed my post back in February where I shared Part 1 of creating my dream bathroom, I’ve removed the paywall since it’s now archived. Feel free to have a read!
Everything is on track to start the renovation at the end of the month, and I’ll be bringing you along on my journey in a new regular series which I’m considering calling The Bathroom Diaries.
This renovation journal will document my first-ever renovation, from start to the finish, including all the dramas in between. While I hope there will be few dramas, I’m realistic enough to know that home improvements often come with their fair share of surprises.
In the meantime, I’ll continue to browse the internet of all the finishing touches I plan to add, once the bathroom is complete.
Bath Tidy
I’ve selected four bath tidies, ranging from affordable, mid-price and premium options.
1: Wooden Bath Bridge
The most expensive of my selections is the Wooden Bath Bridge by Wireworks available at Heals.
I love the look of this bath tidy; however, it’s not as practical as some of my other selections due to the large gaps between each rung, which limit what you can position. What I do really like about this option is the water-resistant lacquer that has been applied, ensuring the wood doesn’t soak up excess water and become mouldy.
2: Oak Wood Bath Tidy
This beautiful bath tidy from The White Company is made from solid oak and hand-crafted in Thailand. It’s not the cheapest option at £65, however is far more practical than my previous find.
3: Bath Tray
I think my favourite (and most practical) option is this bath tray from Etsy.
This genius idea incorporates a wine glass holder, which definitely gets my vote!
4: Mango Bath Bridge
Priced at £30, this bath bridge from Habitat is the most affordable option in my selection.
Not only is this extremely practical, with the gaps not too far apart, it also looks fabulous too.
5: Toilet Roll Holder
As far as toilet roll holders go, this design by Lincoln Rivers for Wireworks is pretty stylish. The contemporary design is the perfect addition to keeping your bathroom organised.
Toilet Brush Holder
Not the most glamorous of bathroom accessories, but an essential for any bathroom. I hope you like the ones I have chosen for this months shopping guide.
6: Wassila Toilet Brush
While toilet brushes are not a symbol of glamour, they do serve a purpose. This Wassila Toilet Brush from Sklum has a beautiful design made from a material that visually resembles porcelain.
Plus if you subscribe up to their newsletter you can get an additional 10% off your first order.
7: Ribbed Toilet Brush
Give your bathroom a stylish refresh with this ribbed toilet brush from M&S.
Priced at just £12.50 this is the cheapest option from my selection of toilet brushes. This textured design is crafted from strong resin and finished with a silver-coloured handle.
8: Faro Wall Mounted Toilet Brush
At the top-end of the price range, this toilet brush from Nosa isn’t cheap at £77.
Combining functionality with sleek design, this toilet brush holder is made from superior quality materials, designed to withstand the humid conditions of a bathroom.
The wall-mounted feature of the Faro Toilet Brush saves valuable floor space with its simple, yet elegant design. Offered in a range of finishes, you’re sure to find a colour to suit your bathroom design.
9: Toilet Brush and Holder
To complement some of the other pieces I’ve already shared is the Toilet Brush and Holder designed by Wireworks for Heals.
10: Sand Effect Toilet Brush and Holder
Super simple in design, this contemporary option is available from John Lewis.
11: Soft Touch Toilet Brush and Holder
Another option from John Lewis, offering great value for money at just £15.
12: Faro Towel Shelf With Rail
Part of the Faro collection from Nosa this shelf with rail is an ideal solution if additional storage is needed to keep your bathroom organised, without compromising on style.
Toothbrush Holder
13: Marble Toothbrush Holder
The White Company toothbrush holder, made from marble stone, adds a modern spa-like quality to the bathroom.
14: Natural Stone Effect Toothbrush Holder
Crafted to resemble natural stone, this oval toothbrush holder from M&S brings a touch of earthy elegance to your bathroom.
15: Ulysse Toothbrush Holder
Bring a touch of elegance and sophistication to your bathroom with the Ulysse Toothbrush Holder from Sklum, and an absolute bargain at just £4.95!

Soap Dispenser
With so many options available, I struggled to narrow down my selection of soap dispensers, so here’s my favourite five.
16: Amber Glass Set
I adore this glass bottle set from Namie available in two different sizes. You can choose between 500ml or 1000ml bottle sizes, and if you subscribe to their mailing list you can benefit from 10% off your first order.
17: Wasila Soap Dish
If you prefer a soap dish, you may want to check out one of these two designs from Sklum.
First, the Wasila Soap Dish combines polyresin, offering a porcelain-like appearance combined with acacia wood.
18: Ulysse Soap Dish
Or, the Ulysse soap dish, also from Sklum, both priced at £4.95, so more than affordable whatever your budget.
19: Sand Effect Soap Dispenser
For a simple, yet contemporary look, you may be interested in this soap dispenser from John Lewis.
20: Diamond Soap Dispenser
However, for something with a little more personality, take a look at the Diamond Soap Dispenser also from John Lewis.
Mirrors
21: Marcos LED Black Framed Mirror
Drench is home to a wide selection of bathroom products, so it’s no surprise that they have a fabulous range of bathroom mirrors.
My first selection is the Marcos LED Black Framed Mirror. I love the simplicity of this design, with the backlit LED and infrared sensor providing a hands-free operation.
22: Marcos Round Framed Mirror
If you’re on a tighter budget, the Marcos Round Frame Mirror is available for under £100; however this option doesn’t include the LED backlight.
23: Finn LED Framed Mirror
My favourite has to be the Finn LED Framed Mirror, which provides a backlit LED with the option to change between daylight or warm white.
24: Mazure Bathroom Mirror
If space is limited in your bathroom, you may wish to consider the Mazure Bathroom Mirror from Sklum, made from teak wood.
While not at the lower end of the price bracket, the Mazure mirror is just under £155; by subscribing to their mailing list, you can save 10% off your first order.
Bins
I’m bringing out all the glamour in todays shopping list, however, I hope you agree these are a beautiful additions for your bathroom.
25: Nova Pedal Bin
The Nova bin by the Danish brand Zone Denmark, available from Nordic Nest is the perfect little bin for the bathroom.
I particularly love the Olive option, which is currently reduced to under £40. However if you prefer the more classic Black option it’s also reduced from £65 to under £50 (at time of publishing).
26: Joseph Joseph Pedal Bin
The perfect space-saving pedal bin, to fit perfectly into your bathroom corner. The Joseph Joseph pedal bin is available from John Lewis at £50.
Laundry Baskets
Finally, although by no means least, here are my two favourite laundry basket options to share with you.
27: Jute Laundry Basket
These bright, fun laundry baskets from Graham and Green are handwoven from thick jute yarns into beautifully intricate patterns and include two handles so you can easily move them around your home.
28: Veta Vera Laundry Basket
Such a cool name! The Veta Vera Laundry Basket from Toast is at the premium end, priced at £165.
Handwoven by artisans in Bolga, Ghana, supported by Frafra Baskets, the Veta Vera Laundry Basket is made from undyed Veta Vera grass, exclusively for Toast.
Accessory Pack
If, like me, you’re in the process of redesigning your bathroom, it may be more cost-effective to consider an Accessories Pack, which normally consists of a towel rail, bathrobe (or towel) hook, toilet roll holder and toilet brush holder.
Here are my two favourite finds.
29: Crosswater Bathroom Accessory Pack
Available in a range of finishes, the Crosswater Bathroom Accessorory Pack includes a towel ring, robe hook, toilet roll holder and toilet brush holder, all for just under £300.
30: Faro Bathroom Accessory Pack
Priced at just £187, I think the Nosa Bathroom Accessory Pack is great value for money. Available in a selection of finishes this pack comprises a sleek towel bar rail, toilet roll holder, a stylish towel hook and a contemporary toilet brush.
